The period for submitting solutions for the DC3 Challenge (http://www.dc3.mil/challenge/2012/stats/leaderboard.php) ended today. The winners will be announced on December 3rd .
On Friday November 9th 2012, the security conference ITSecX will be held at St. Poelten University of Applied Sciences. The final program is already available (http://itsecx.fhstp.ac.at/includes/timetable_2012.pdf).
Researcher of the Institute of IT Security Research presented the paper Discussion on the Challenges and Opportunities of Cloud Forensics (http://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-642-32498-7_45?null) at the 2nd IFIP International Workshop on Security and Cognitive Informatics for Homeland Defense.
As part of the digital forensics course at the St. Poelten University of Applied Sciences ten student have successfully passed the ACE (AccessData Certified Examiner) certification.
